At what point does the home become a building without personal value? And what about the memories that were anchored there? In “4 Wände”, this process is examined in the context of the final move out of the childhood flat by my mother, my brother and me and is worked through in a fragmentary-associative way. The focus is not only on saying goodbye to an important place, but also on family cohesion, which is manifested through the memories, and on growing up, which gains significance through the transience of the old home.
